His commitment to student success shaped not only Relo’s programs but also the careers of those he supported every step of the way. From exam preparation to professional milestones, Mark’s mentorship and generosity of spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Mark’s influence extended beyond the classroom, with his family playing a meaningful role in our community. His wife, Alice, contributed her skills to Career Days and event planning, while his son, Kris, followed in his footsteps as a Relo student and rising professional. Together, they enriched the Relo family in countless ways.

Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre via the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Mark specifically wished for donations to support this hospital, where he received excellent care. His hope was to help fund amenities like TVs, ensuring future patients never have to miss a Flames game—or anything else they might want to watch.
