WKTI reserves the right to terminate, change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site, including the availability of features, at any time without notice or liability.
The material on this Site is provided for general information and educational purposes only. It should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete, or more timely sources of information. You acknowledge that your use or reliance on the WKTI Site or materials is at your own risk.
This Site may contain certain historical information. Historical information is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this Site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our Site.
The WKTI Site is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
3.1 – Platform Availability and Maintenance WKTI will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the platform available and operational. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, or circumstances outside WKTI’s control. Where possible, WKTI will provide advance notice of planned maintenance windows via a notice on the Site or by email. Planned maintenance periods that result in platform unavailability will not be counted against your course access period.
In the event of an unplanned outage lasting more than 24 consecutive hours, WKTI will use reasonable efforts to notify affected learners and to provide guidance on any impact to course access. WKTI is not liable for any loss, inconvenience, or regulatory consequence arising from platform unavailability, provided WKTI has used reasonable efforts to restore the Service. Access will continue until the end of the current billing period. • In the event of a failed payment, WKTI will notify you by email. Access may be suspended until payment is received and may be terminated after repeated failures.
These provisions supplement our Refund Policy and apply to any subscription or installment-based products if and when offered.
Section 5 – Exam Readiness Platform and Course Delivery We Know Training Inc. delivers its courses exclusively through an exam readiness platform powered by artificial intelligence (“AI”). Unlike traditional eLearning, our platform continuously analyzes your performance and adjusts your study path in real time.
5.1 – How Our Platform Works Our platform uses AI-powered technology to deliver a personalized learning experience. Specifically, the platform: • Assesses your existing knowledge through a baseline assessment when you begin a course. • Continuously analyzes your performance on lessons, quizzes, flashcards, and practice exams. • Adapts your personalized study plan and daily recommendations in real time based on your progress. • Prioritizes topics mapped to the applicable competency framework and exam blueprint. • Provides a ReadyRating score (1–5) that predicts your exam readiness based on your performance data.
The platform’s recommendations and ReadyRating scores are predictive tools only and do not constitute a guarantee of exam success, nor do they produce any legally binding decision about your eligibility for licensure.
5.2 – Learner Data Collected by the Platform The platform automatically collects and processes the following categories of learner data to deliver your personalized experience: • Baseline assessment responses used to calibrate your starting knowledge level. • Quiz and practice-exam answers, scores, response times, and attempt history. • Concept Mastery ratings and ReadyRating scores generated by our ReadyEngine. • Flashcard interaction data (views, recalls, and confidence ratings). • Study-session duration, frequency, and lesson-completion milestones. • Personalized study-plan progress and daily goal completion. • Exam-readiness analytics tied to the applicable competency framework.
This data is used solely to power your personalized learning experience and, where applicable, to fulfil our obligations to relevant regulatory bodies. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
5.3 – Use of AI and Automated Decision-Making Our ReadyEngine uses AI to generate personalized study paths, assess concept mastery, and calculate your ReadyRating score. These automated processes do not produce legally binding decisions about your eligibility for licensure. By using the Site, you acknowledge and agree that: • AI-generated recommendations, readiness scores, and study plans are algorithmically produced and may not reflect the judgment of a human instructor. • WKTI does not use your personal learning data to train third-party AI models. • You will be notified of any material changes to how AI is used to deliver your learning experience.
5.4 – Pass Guarantee Learners who achieve a ReadyRating of 5 are eligible for our Pass Guarantee. If you do not pass the relevant licensing exam after achieving a ReadyRating of 5, you may apply for a refund of your course fee subject to the eligibility conditions in our Refund Policy.
5.5 – Course Completion Requirements Course completion is subject to requirements set by WKTI and any applicable regulatory or professional body. You are responsible for meeting all completion and eligibility requirements prior to booking your exam. WKTI is not responsible for exam scheduling, exam fees, or administrative requirements imposed by any regulatory body. WKTI is not liable for changes to regulatory requirements after enrolment; in the event of material regulatory changes, WKTI will use reasonable efforts to update course materials and notify enrolled learners.
5.6 – Products and Services Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the Site and are subject to our Refund Policy. All descriptions of products or pricing are subject to change at any time at our sole discretion.
Section 6 – Accuracy of Billing and Account Information We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made on our Site, and to promptly update your account information as needed. Payment information is processed securely through our payment provider. Credit card details are not stored on our servers. For more detail, please review our Refund Policy.
Section 7 – Optional Tools and Third-Party Integrations We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control. We provide access to such tools “as is” and “as available” without any warranties. We shall have no liability arising from your use of optional third-party tools. The Site may also integrate third-party plug-ins (such as social media widgets or analytics tools) that may collect data such as your IP address even if you do not interact with them. These plug-ins are governed by the privacy policies of their respective providers.
Section 8 – Third-Party Links Third-party links on this Site may direct you to third-party websites not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of third-party materials, and we do not warrant them. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to transactions made in connection with any third-party websites. Complaints regarding third-party products should be directed to the third party.
Section 9 – User Conduct and Submissions By submitting comments, feedback, course reviews, or other submissions through the Site, you grant WKTI a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, and publish such content for purposes of improving and promoting our services. WKTI is under no obligation to maintain submissions in confidence, pay compensation for them, or respond to them. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and content of anything you submit. WKTI reserves the right to remove any user-submitted content at its sole discretion.
Section 10 – Personal Information, Privacy and Communications 10.1 – Privacy Policy Your submission of personal information through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy. In particular, our Privacy Policy addresses: • The categories of personal and learning data we collect (including baseline assessments, quiz data, ReadyRating scores, and study-session data). • How learner data powers the ReadyEngine and personalizes your study experience. • Disclosure of course-completion records to applicable regulatory bodies. • Your rights to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information. • Data security, retention, and breach notification practices. • How to contact our Chief Privacy Officer with questions or concerns.
10.2 – Communications Consent (CASL) By creating an account on the platform, you consent to receive transactional and service communications from WKTI necessary for the operation of the Service. These include account notices, course access confirmations, progress summaries, ReadyRating updates, access expiry notices, regulatory reporting confirmations, and support responses. You may not opt out of transactional communications while your account remains active.
Marketing communications — including promotional offers, new course announcements, and newsletters — will only be sent where you have provided express consent. You may withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting privacy@weknowtraining.ca. WKTI complies with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) in all electronic communications.
10.3 – Evolving Privacy and AI Legislation The legal landscape governing privacy and AI in Canada and Alberta is actively evolving. Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) is currently under review, with material amendments anticipated in 2026, including new provisions regarding children’s privacy, penalty-based enforcement, and obligations related to de-identified and anonymized data. At the federal level, new privacy and AI legislation is expected to be re-introduced, building on the prior framework of Bill C-27.
WKTI is committed to monitoring developments in applicable privacy and AI law and to updating its practices, policies, and these Terms of Use as new legislation comes into force. Where changes to applicable law require updates to these Terms, WKTI will provide notice to registered learners in accordance with Section 24 of these Terms.
Section 11 – Cookies and Tracking Technologies We use session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (retained between sessions) to enable platform functionality, remember your preferences, and support analytics. Using the Site while your browser accepts cookies implies your consent to their use. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may impair platform functionality including your personalized study plan and progress tracking. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Section 12 – Regulatory Requirements and Course Obligations 12.1 – Learner Regulatory Obligations It is your sole responsibility to: • Ensure you meet all eligibility requirements set by the applicable regulatory body prior to enrolment. • Monitor and comply with any applicable exam authorization windows and expiry dates. • Book and attend your licensing exam within the timeframes set by the applicable regulatory body. • Pay all applicable exam fees, registration fees, and licensing fees directly to the applicable regulatory body. • Notify WKTI promptly if your eligibility status changes during your enrolment.
12.2 – Regulatory Changes The applicable regulatory body may update its course requirements, exam blueprints, competency frameworks, or eligibility criteria at any time. WKTI will use reasonable efforts to update course content in response and to notify enrolled learners of material updates by email. However, WKTI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from changes to regulatory requirements, including course decertification. If a course is decertified after your enrolment, WKTI will work with affected learners on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our Refund Policy.
12.3 – Completion Records and Reporting Upon successful course completion, WKTI will report your completion status to the applicable regulatory body as required. You are responsible for ensuring your account information (including your legal name and any applicable registration or ID number) is accurate and up to date. WKTI is not liable for delays or errors in regulatory reporting caused by inaccurate account information provided by you.
Section 13 – Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions Occasionally there may be information on our Site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, or course content. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

You are prohibited from using the Site or its content: • For any unlawful purpose. • To solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts. • To violate any international, federal, provincial, or local regulations, rules, laws, or ordinances. • To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others. • To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability. • To submit false or misleading information. • To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code. • To collect or track the personal information of others without consent. • To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape. • To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service. • To attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, reproduce, or exploit the platform’s exam readiness algorithms, AI models, or any proprietary technology. • To share login credentials or allow unauthorized third parties to access your account, complete coursework, or represent themselves as you on the platform.
We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service for violating any of the prohibited uses.
Section 15 – Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that results obtained from the Service, including AI-generated readiness scores and study recommendations, will be accurate or reliable.
You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available,’ without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied.
In no case shall WKTI, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, suppliers, service providers, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or replacement costs, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, arising from your use of the Service. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

In the event of a force majeure event, WKTI will use reasonable efforts to notify affected learners and restore the Service as quickly as possible. Where a force majeure event results in a sustained inability to deliver the Service, WKTI will work with affected learners in accordance with the Refund Policy. Learners experiencing Service disruptions are encouraged to contact WKTI at support@weknowtraining.ca as soon as possible.
Section 17 – Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WKTI and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Use or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Section 18 – Severability In the event that any provision of these Terms of Use is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. The unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms of Use; such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
Section 19 – Waiver No waiver by WKTI of any term or condition set out in these Terms of Use shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition. Any failure by WKTI to assert a right or provision under these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Section 20 – Assignment You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms of Use, including your course access licence, to any other person without the prior written consent of WKTI. Any purported assignment without such consent shall be null and void.
WKTI may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms of Use to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, provided that the successor is bound by these Terms or materially equivalent terms. WKTI will provide reasonable notice to registered learners in the event of such an assignment.
Section 21 – Termination The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.
These Terms of Use are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Use at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services or when you cease using our Site.
If, in our sole judgment, you fail or we suspect that you have failed to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Use, we may terminate this agreement at any time without notice. You will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination, and we may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).
Upon termination of your account, access to course content and your personal learning data will be subject to our data retention practices as described in our Privacy Policy. Learning-performance data is retained for the duration of your enrolment plus a reasonable period thereafter to support regulatory reporting and any appeals.
Section 22 – Dispute Resolution 22.1 – Informal Resolution Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact WKTI in writing with a clear description of the dispute, the specific relief sought, and any supporting information.
