COURSE OVERVIEW
What is the Residential Real Estate course bundle?
Everything you need to practice residential real estate in Alberta: both mandatory courses, packaged into one seamless, adaptive journey with a study path tailored to you. This bundle satisfies the education requirements for the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) pre-licensing exams.
Bought separately, Fundamentals of Real Estate is $675 and Practice of Residential Real Estate is $500 — $1,175 in total. The bundle is $1,125, so you commit to the full requirement once and pay $50 less for it.
The order does not change: you take Fundamentals first, write its exam, then move into Practice of Residential. What changes is that both courses are already paid for and your readiness is tracked across the pair, so nothing stalls between them. Compare the bundle against the single-course prices if you would rather pay as you go.

COURSE FEATURES
Two courses, two exams, one readiness score
Relo’s Residential Real Estate Course Bundle is both RECA-recognized courses required for a residential licence in Alberta: Fundamentals of Real Estate and Practice of Residential Real Estate. No prior real estate experience required.
Buying both up front means ReadyEngine™ can plan across all 53 concepts instead of restarting at the second course. It knows which Fundamentals material the residential exam builds on, and keeps it warm while you work through the applied topics. Reach Level 5 before an attempt and the Pass Guarantee applies: if you don’t pass either official RECA attempt, your course fee comes back. Full lesson completion is required before your first attempt, and RECA’s eligibility and exam timing rules apply.
Each course has its own RECA pre-licensing exam. After both, learners complete a criminal record check and secure brokerage sponsorship before applying for licensing. Weighing Relo against another provider? Our side-by-side provider comparison sets out price, access length and practice volume.

THE REALITY OF GETTING LICENSED
Getting your real estate license in Alberta costs more than a course fee
The bundle settles the education line of the budget in one payment. What it does not cover are RECA’s own fees: eligibility before you enrol, an exam fee per attempt, a criminal record check, and licensing and insurance once you pass.
Those fees are the argument for buying both courses together. Two exams at $1,125 of tuition is already the cheaper route; passing each on the first attempt is what keeps the rest of the total down.
ReadyEngine™ shows when you’re ready to write your RECA exam.
*Registration requires a myRECA account and your RECA Contact ID.

HOW IT WORKS
One study plan across both RECA exams
ReadyEngine™, our readiness intelligence platform, identifies what you already know, targets what you don't, and builds your study path around the concepts that carry the most weight on each RECA exam. Because both courses are open from day one, it can pull a Fundamentals concept back into rotation the moment the residential material depends on it. We recommend reaching ReadyRating Level 4, passing two practice exams, and watching all video lessons before each attempt.
