If you’re retaking your exam, our AI-powered platform is the most efficient way to prepare. It assesses your knowledge to quickly identify the specific areas that caused trouble before. From there, it creates a new, targeted study path to close those gaps. That means less time re-studying what you already know and more time strengthening what needs improvement.
Our system is perfect for retakes. It assesses your knowledge to find the specific gaps that tripped you up before. Then, it builds a tailored study plan that focuses only on those areas, saving you time.

No, we don’t and we honestly don’t need to. Other Alberta real estate schools charge extra for prep. Our online pre-licensed courses include unlimited, AI-driven exam preparation as a standard feature. Your tailored study plan is one continuous, intelligent prep session. It’s designed to help you pass the exam confidently on the first attempt.
Your study journey can start in two ways to help lead you to the ideal exam date you want to set for yourself. You can take our comprehensive Initial Assessment to get an immediate, detailed baseline of your knowledge. The assessment can take about 90 minutes to complete. Or, if you prefer to just jump in, you can skip the assessment. The platform will then build your Concept Mastery grid as you go. It’ll use your performance in the adaptive quizzes to discover your strengths and weaknesses.
Our ReadyRating score gives you a real-time prediction of your odds of passing based on your performance across all concepts. It helps you know when you’re actually ready to schedule your exam — not just when you feel ready. This saves you time and money on retake fees by making sure you walk in confident and prepared.
You will start with an initial assessment. The results will help the platform build your unique study plan to tackle only the remaining topics.
The content has been updated to be cleaner, more direct, and better aligned with the new 2025 exams. RECA updated the structure (reorganizing, combining, or simplifying learning outcomes).

The ReadyRating™ is a live composite score that runs from 1 to 5 and updates after every study session. At Level 5, the data says you're ready to book your exam. That's also when the Pass Guarantee applies. Sit your certification exam at Level 5 and don't pass? We'll give you a full refund.

- ReadyRating™ 4: 61% to 80% probability of passing.

ReadyEngine™ is Relo’s readiness intelligence platform for real estate pre-licensing education in Alberta. It tracks your performance across exam-aligned concepts, builds a personalized study plan around your target exam date, and produces a live ReadyRating™ that tells you when you're ready to book. There is updated course content that matches the 2025 RECA exam blueprints.
Adaptive learning is one of the capabilities inside ReadyEngine™. The platform uses it to route you through content based on your performance. But the goal isn't personalization. It's a defensible, data-driven answer to whether you'll pass.
Cost
Our price includes your course material and access to our adaptive platform. This will help you prepare for your licensing exam. This is the only fee you’ll pay to us.
Please be aware that you will have separate, mandatory fees paid directly to RECA (the regulator). These include your certified criminal record check and the fee for your final licensing exam. Those are regulatory fees, not Relo fees.
Bundling is the most efficient way to buy. Here’s the breakdown:
Bundling provides a full $2,350 value of RECA-recognized education for less than half the cost, securing the entire 150-hour education requirement at the best possible rate.
Note: Per RECA regulations, you must complete the Fundamentals course first. Your access to the Practice course will open immediately upon completion.
Getting your real estate license in Alberta typically costs $2,960 to $4,485 for the licensing stage, including your real estate courses, RECA exam fees, eligibility application, licensing fees, insurance, and assurance fund fees. If you include first-year business costs like association memberships, marketing, technology, and brokerage expenses, new agents should budget around $5,500 to $9,000 in total.
The main upfront costs include real estate course tuition, the $235 RECA licensing exam, the $350 eligibility application, and approximately $800 in RECA licensing, insurance, and assurance fund fees after passing your exams. Choosing a bundled course option and preparing well for your exam can help reduce your overall cost and avoid retake fees.
No. The “Full Single Course” or “Full Access Bundle” is a one-time purchase. It gives you full access to score a ReadyRating of 4 or higher to help determine when you’re ready for the RECA pre-licensing exam.
You’ll see some schools with a lower up-front price, but they often sell you an “exam prep” package, a “pass guarantee,” or a “course extension” as an extra add-on.
We believe in all-in-one value. Our pre-licensing education includes quizzes and practice exams. These are part of a learning experience designed for you. This will help you prepare better for the pre-licensing exam.

Content
No. Much of the course content carried over from our previous platform and remains relevant. RECA primarily updated the structure of the blueprints (reorganizing, combining, or simplifying learning outcomes) in 2025. They did not add new material.
Yes. RECA updated the licensing exams for both Fundamentals of Real Estate and Practice of Residential Real Estate on December 1, 2025, introducing new Competency Exam blueprints for both courses. Relo rebuilt its course content to align with those updated blueprints before the launch.
Every lesson, question, and flashcard is mapped to a concept on the current RECA blueprint and weighted by how heavily the exam tests it. That weighting is not just organizational. It drives how ReadyEngine™ prioritizes your study plan and how your ReadyRating™ is calculated. Mastering a concept the exam tests heavily moves your score more than one it barely touches.
You are not studying a general overview of real estate. You are studying what the exam actually tests, in the order that matters most.

Pass Rate
Official course purchases require tying your enrolment back to RECA.
Create your myRECA account, satisfy eligibility expectations, pay RECA’s applicable fees where required, and obtain your RECA Contact ID before you enrol in a priced Relo course—we need it to provision full course materials and synchronize progress with regulators.
Your roadmap starts from what you already know.
Begin with Relo’s Initial Assessment (about 90 minutes) so we can map Concept Mastery to the RECA exam blueprint—or jump in without it and let adaptive quizzes tighten the picture over time either way.
The platform allocates study toward genuine gaps: your daily plan updates as mastery grows, readiness signals improve, and your exam timeline gets sharper.
RECA dictates the sequencing—Fundamentals comes first.
If you intend to practise residential real estate afterwards, enrol in Practice of Residential Real Estate only after Fundamentals coursework and exams per RECA timelines.
Otherwise pick the residential bundle upfront if pricing savings line up—we’ll honour unlock rules accordingly.
Riley is Relo’s 24/7 AI study teammate built into your course.
Ask for plain-language explanations, walkthroughs on convoluted topics, clarification on wording, reinforcement practice, or quick navigation help—all without needing to coordinate live office hours unless you prefer that human complement.
If Relo confirms you reached ReadyRating Level 5 and you still don’t pass your official RECA exam, Relo honours a full refund toward your qualifying enrolment.
Specific eligibility and exclusions are spelled out wherever you enrol; the guarantee aligns with readiness evidence the platform establishes before exam day—not wishful pacing.
On the Readiness Intelligence platform, 97% of Relo learners are passing their exams.
That statistic reflects learner outcomes tied to preparation that measures readiness, not mere completion—and it applies to how Relo operates after the rebuilt platform rollout you read about elsewhere on this page.
Exact cohort definitions can shift as more learners finish; we publish what we’re seeing now so prospects can benchmark confidence, not nostalgia.
RECA’s public comparison tables lag behind the learning experience learners use today.
You may see percentages that reflect learner performance from a previous calendar window or completed before today’s adaptive platform landed. Those snapshots are authoritative for their period, but they are not updated in real time with every enrolment cohort.
For the fullest picture—including how readiness is measured today—read our pass rate messaging on this page and reach out if you still have questions.

Alberta Licensing
Yes. You can complete an online real estate course in Alberta through a RECA-recognized education provider, then follow the official steps in myRECA to book and write your exam.
To get your real estate licence in Alberta, you generally follow RECA’s pathway: confirm eligibility, create your myRECA account, submit a criminal record check, complete RECA-recognized pre-licensing education, book and pass the RECA pre-licensing exam, secure a sponsoring brokerage, then submit your licensing application for activation.
RECA requires that you meet basic eligibility requirements such as being 18+, providing valid government ID, having a Canadian high school diploma (or equivalent), and being able to study and work in Canada. Requirements can change, so always confirm in your myRECA guidance and RECA documentation.
The biggest delays are usually: waiting to start the criminal record check, not planning study time consistently, and postponing the brokerage search until after the exam.
You must complete RECA-recognized pre-licensing education before writing the exam. Many learners complete Fundamentals of Real Estate first and then move into Practice of Residential Real Estate as part of the standard learning sequence.
You need a minimum passing grade of 70% on the RECA pre-licensing exam, and you have two attempts.
After you pass, you’ll finalize brokerage sponsorship documentation and complete the final application steps. Once RECA approves your application, your licence is activated and you can begin practicing.
Your myRECA account is your portal with the regulator. You’ll use it to manage key parts of the licensing process such as course enrolment steps, exam booking, and licensing administration. Once approved by RECA and your myRECA account is created, you’ll also receive your RECA Contact ID, which you’ll need to help register/upgrade to our paid courses.
Start your brokerage search while you’re studying. You’ll need an authorized Alberta brokerage to hold your licence, and interviewing early helps you avoid delays after you pass your exam.
Submit your criminal record check as early as possible after creating your myRECA account. It can take several weeks to process, and starting early helps prevent delays while you complete your education.
