EDMONTON, AB – January 15, 2026 – Relo by WKT, a RECA-recognized real estate education provider, has launched its readiness intelligence platform. It is built to do something pre-licensing education rarely does: tell a learner where they actually stand.

The platform addresses a problem that has shaped pre-licensing education for years. Learners can study for months and still walk into the exam unsure whether they are prepared. Relo’s system is built on RECA’s competency framework, and it gives learners an evidence-based answer to the question every serious learner asks.

The problem with one-size-fits-all education

Traditional real estate education treats all learners identically. Everyone moves through the same linear path, regardless of what they already know or how fast they learn. The result is not just wasted time. It is false confidence.

Learners report spending months studying without knowing if their efforts are working. They feel overwhelmed by content with no clear prioritization. And most critically, they fear realizing too late that they weren’t actually prepared.

Relo built this platform for motivated learners in career transition: people who take licensing seriously and want clarity and momentum instead of guesswork.

“Real estate asks people to step into responsibility quickly. Training should support that transition,” said Emma Plumb, SVP of Learning at We Know Training. “Our platform respects the seriousness of that moment by giving learners transparent, data-driven signals about where they stand and what they need to focus on next. It’s a higher standard for a profession that demands one.”

A system built for certainty, not just personalization

ReadyEngine connects four things that usually sit apart:

  • Validated, exam-aligned content mapped directly to RECA’s 2025 competency blueprints
  • Competency-based learning paths that find genuine knowledge gaps, not just incomplete modules
  • Adaptive practice that measures what a learner has mastered, not how long they spent
  • ReadyRating™ a transparent 1 to 5 readiness score tied to the exam blueprint

ReadyRating tells learners where they stand, what to work on next, and when the data says it is time to book.

What makes Relo different

  • Personalized study plans that prioritize high-impact gaps, while still revisiting concepts already mastered for reinforcement.
  • Concept Mastery by topic, mapped to the exam blueprint, instead of a completion percentage
  • Guidance over freedom: The platform tells learners what to work on next, removing the paralysis of choice
  • Spaced practice that brings concepts back on a schedule so they are still there on exam day

All courses are RECA-recognized. Fundamentals of Real Estate includes 1,100+ practice questions, 450+ flashcards and 100+ video lessons. Practice of Residential Real Estate includes 1,100+ practice questions, 500+ flashcards and 70+ video lessons. Both include unlimited practice exams, and live Office Hours with a licensed Alberta real estate agent at no extra cost, the Pass Guarantee, and access until you pass.

Course pricing

  • Fundamentals of Real Estate: $675 CAD (regularly $1,350)
  • Practice of Residential Real Estate: $500 CAD (regularly $1,000)
  • Residential Real Estate Bundle: $1,125 CAD (regularly $2,250)

All courses include materials aligned to RECA’s 2025 exam blueprints, the Pass Guarantee, live Office Hours, and access until you pass. Reach ReadyRating Level 5 before your first attempt, complete all lessons, and if you do not pass either official RECA attempt, your course fee comes back. RECA’s eligibility and exam timing rules apply.

Meeting Alberta’s need for qualified professionals

Alberta is building at a record pace. Calgary and Edmonton both set all-time highs for housing starts in 2025, at 27,684 and 21,337 units, and the province started 53,184 homes in total, up 14% over 2024 (CMHC, January 2026).

The profession serving that market has grown just as fast. RECA licensed 22,387 individuals as of September 30, 2025, including 16,943 residential real estate licenses, and reports that Alberta’s licensee numbers have risen by nearly 40% over five years.

RECA also notes that growth is now levelling off. Which raises the bar: in a market this size, the differentiator stops being how many people get licensed and becomes how well prepared they are when they start.

For current students

Existing Relo students (Relo’s traditional learning platform) receive the upgrade at no cost, with their knowledge carried forward. Learners who bought before December 1, 2025 and are still working through the Practice of Commercial Real Estate course can continue on the previous platform at courses.relo.ca.

Availability and how to enrol

ReadyEngine is live now across both of Relo’s RECA-recognized pre-licensing courses: Fundamentals of Real Estate, the mandatory prerequisite, and Practice of Residential Real Estate.

Enrolling takes two steps. Register with RECA first to get your Contact ID, then choose your course at relo.ca. Fundamentals is $675 and the bundle covers both courses for $1,125. Every enrolment includes unlimited practice exams, live Office Hours with a licensed Alberta real estate agent, the Pass Guarantee, and access until you pass.

Two places to start: see how ReadyEngine works, or read the full Alberta licensing pathway if you are still working out the steps.
