Meet the new Relo: Better outcomes and a faster, more focused path to passing

Pass without wasting time on what you already know.

The new Relo learning experience is designed to help learners identify their knowledge gaps, focus on what matters most and prepare for their licensing exams more efficiently.

At the centre of that experience is ReadyEngine™, Relo’s readiness engine.

And now, we have tangible results to celebrate:

97% of Relo learners ultimately pass

Based on final learner outcomes, 97% of Relo learners successfully passed within RECA’s two allowable exam attempts.

That is the result that matters most to us. Learners come to Relo to move forward with a new career, and our job is to help them reach that goal.

The latest course provider results published by the Real Estate Council of Alberta also show that Relo learners are performing better when they write their exams.

From 2025 to the first half of 2026, success rates and average exam scores improved across both Fundamentals of Real Estate and Practice of Residential Real Estate.

The results are in, and the new Relo is delivering stronger learner outcomes.

What is new about the new Relo?

Traditional online learning often asks every learner to follow the same path, spend the same amount of time on every topic and decide for themselves whether they are truly ready for the exam.

ReadyEngine takes a different approach.

It responds to each learner’s progress, helping them see what they already understand and where they need more practice.

Instead of spending unnecessary time reviewing familiar material, learners can focus their attention on the concepts they still need to master.

The goal is simple:

Help learners use their study time more productively, become exam-ready sooner and move toward passing with greater confidence.

The new Relo is not about rushing through the course. It is about making every study session count.

Relo learner outcomes are improving

According to RECA’s published course provider results, Relo improved across both major pre-licensing courses.

Practice of Residential Real Estate

  • Relo’s success rate increased from 60% in 2025 to 71% between January and June 2026.
  • Put simply, the share of successful exam sittings rose from about 6 in 10 to more than 7 in 10.
  • The average exam score also increased from 71% to 73%.

Fundamentals of Real Estate

  • Relo’s success rate increased from 52% in 2025 to 61% between January and June 2026.
  • That means the share of successful exam sittings rose from about 5 in 10 to more than 6 in 10.
  • The average exam score increased from 69% to 73%, tying for the highest average score among the providers listed in RECA’s results.

The results at a glance

  • Practice of Residential Real Estate: 60% success rate in 2025, 71% from January to June 2026, with a 73% average exam score in 2026.
  • Fundamentals of Real Estate: 52% success rate in 2025, 61% from January to June 2026, with a 73% average exam score in 2026.

These are not projections or internal estimates. They are learner results published by Alberta’s real estate regulator.

A faster, more focused path to exam readiness

Preparing for a licensing exam can feel overwhelming when every topic seems equally important.

ReadyEngine helps learners cut through that uncertainty.

It identifies gaps in knowledge, reinforces the concepts that need more attention and helps learners focus their effort where it can have the greatest impact.

Instead of repeatedly studying everything, learners can concentrate on what they still need to learn.

That can mean:

  • Less time reviewing familiar material
  • More targeted practice
  • Clearer priorities
  • More productive study sessions
  • Greater confidence before writing the exam

This is what we mean by a faster path to passing. It is not about skipping important material. It is about helping learners avoid wasting time on what they already know and focus on what will move them forward.

What ReadyEngine does differently

ReadyEngine is not simply an AI chatbot added to the side of an online course.

It is built into the Relo learning experience to help learners make better decisions about how to study.

As learners progress, ReadyEngine helps them:

  • Identify concepts they already understand
  • Recognize areas that need more practice
  • Reinforce important material before it is forgotten
  • Prioritize the topics most likely to improve their readiness
  • Use their available study time more effectively
  • Build confidence before writing the exam

Every learner begins with different knowledge, experience and study habits. Their path to readiness should not look exactly the same either.

That is what makes the new Relo different.

What Relo learners are saying

The results matter, but so does the learner experience behind them.

“The new platform was the key to my success. Those videos are a game changer.”
“The program is really great for gaining understanding of real estate in a way deeper than just memorization.”
“I don’t think I would have passed my Residential exam without the team support.”
“I practiced with over 2,000 questions… They are so helpful with any and all of your questions.”

These reviews reflect what the new Relo is designed to provide: focused learning, practical understanding and real support when learners need it.

New technology, measured by real results

Innovation matters when it makes a meaningful difference for learners.

At Relo, success is not measured by how many new features we add. It is measured by whether learners understand the material, feel prepared and achieve the outcome they came for.

Since introducing the new Relo learning experience and ReadyEngine, we have seen meaningful improvements in both success rates and average exam scores.

The results are a strong indication that a more personalized and focused approach is helping learners prepare more effectively.

They also show that Relo learners are not only achieving strong final outcomes. Their performance when writing their exams is improving too.

That is the kind of innovation that matters.

Understanding the results

RECA reports course provider success rates based on individual exam sittings, including repeat sittings.

This differs from Relo’s 97% final learner success rate, which follows each learner through their two allowable RECA exam attempts and counts them once based on whether they ultimately passed.

The two measures answer different questions:

  • RECA’s provider results show the percentage of individual exam sittings that resulted in a pass.
  • Relo’s final learner success rate shows the percentage of learners who ultimately passed within their allowable attempts.

Together, they provide a fuller picture: 97% of Relo learners ultimately succeed, and the latest RECA results show that learner performance at the time of writing is improving.

This is the new Relo

The new Relo is more personalized.

It is more focused on readiness.

And it is designed to help learners prepare with greater clarity, confidence and efficiency.

We are proud of the technology behind ReadyEngine, but we are even more proud of what learners are achieving with it.

Success rates are up. Average scores are up. And learners have a smarter, more focused way to prepare for the next step in their careers.

This is what we set out to build:

Less time reviewing what you already know. More focus on what moves you forward. A clearer path to passing.
